Double Loading Porcelain or commonly known as Double Loaded Porcelain Tiles are manufactured with two layers of raw materials pressed together and then fired at high temperatures exceeding 1200°C. The top layer measuring between 2 to 3mm comprises of the aesthetic design and colours. Whereas the bottom layer measuring between 7 to 8mm consist of very fine coloured powders in a single colour. Double Loading Porcelain, especially Matt finishes are suitable for high traffic commercial and residential application. They however are not as hard wearing as Full Body Porcelain Homogeneous tiles.
